Meet The Team – Community Concord

At Community Concord, we work in a very structured way so that everyone is involved.

A very open hearted fantastic members from community setup to get involved in Planning and Approvals Team. This Team (approx 3-5) works hard if we meeting the overall objectives of the Group. And due to the nature of community, people come in, people leave to new places, so this planning team changes every year in December.

Then we have the Coordinators (approx 8) who work hand in hand to implement the planning.

And our beautiful bunch of people is our dance/art Teachers (approx 5) who share their skills to light up others hearts!

We are supported by Volunteer team (approx 20) who help their bits on the event day or whenever asked to as they love to be involved but time permits are very tight or they not completely ready for it yet.

The Planning Team (since 2012)

I‘m Deepa Sadula, I lead the Community Concord group with help of my friends and neighbours in Barking, London. Its rightly said ‘Do what you love doing and your soul smiles’. I knew this trick of bringing smiles so I started exploring local talents and channelised it for community wellbeing as there is nothing exciting than being surrounded by happy smiling souls! I’m a working mom, blessed with my son ‘Vihaan’. It’s been a very creative journey so far and I’m sure we will together make difference to many more lives through our therapeutic performing arts & craft workshops and fun filled events.

Hi, I am Meenakshi and I am spearheading the marketing activities of Community Concord. My motto is ” Everyone has a talent and there is always scope for a mind which is ready to learn”. I believe that ‘Being proud of what we are is the backbone of every harmonious society’. A full time mom of a four year old, I use my spare time as a volunteer.
